Spend a fun filled day celebrating water trails on Saturday, August 1st, 2020 with the 9th Annual Big Paddle! 

**BONUS! For the first time in 2020, join us on Friday, July 31st for a Moonlight Paddle and BBQ!**

Saturday at the waterfront enjoy a canoe, kayak or paddle board adventure and then relax with live music, food vendors, and a beer garden. 

All land activities and parking are FREE

The Big Paddle and Open Paddle require registration and a $5 fee. 

If you register through this site, you must bring your own boat. On site rentals are available if you pre-order through Alder Creek. 

COVID-19 AND RIDGEFIELD BIG PADDLE

 
The Big Paddle Committee is actively responding and adjusting to physical distancing requirements in response to COVID-19. As of May 13, the following adjustments have been made:
  • Big Paddle was rescheduled from Saturday, June 6 to Saturday, AUGUST 1
  • The Big Moon Paddle was rescheduled from Friday, June 5 to Friday, July 31
  • There will be two guided paddles, at 9:30AM and 11:30AM. There will be a limited number of participants allowed on each paddle. 
  • The only land activities will be: live music, food vendors, and beer garden.
  • There will be NO vendors, obstacle course, tomahawk throwing, big canoes, or other land activities. 
  • ALL attendees will be expected to follow physical distancing measures and remain 6 feet away from anyone outside their household. If a 6 foot distance cannot be maintained in a certain space, attendees will be expected to wear face coverings. 
We are continuing to monitor the situation and will make any adjustments or cancellations necessary to comply with local and state laws and recommendations. All tickets are fully refundable.

This community event has it all: ability to enjoy the natural beauty of Ridgefield, learn about cultural history of our area and lots of outdoor activity! I love it!
